Welcome to the website of the Greece Philatelic Society. Our society has just about 140 members, residing in the Netherlands, Belgium and other countries.

As to stamp collecting, Greece is a very special country. The turbulent political developments in the Balkans are clearly visible on all sorts of stamps and postal items. Due to that Greece is not only attractive to the ordinary stampcollector, but also to the historically interested and thematic collector.

The Philatelic Society of Patras organize from saturday 6th of november untill sunday 14th november 2010 a national stamp exhibition, Patraphilex. Four  members of our society will participate. If you are interested, write to the secretary of our society.

The society offers many possibilities of adding to your collection. Four times a year there is a members' meeting. There you can buy stamps and bid for one or more lots at an extensive auction. The prices at this auction are very moderate. If you cannot attend, you can bid in writing; the auction list is sent to you in time.
